As your Medicare advocates, our mission is simple, to help navigate the Medicare maze and help you live and enjoy the life you expect and deserve.

We have been providing Medicare health insurance solutions to our senior community in the Northwest since 2017.  As you work with our agents, you’ll find that we provide personalized attention and provide the type of customer service that you are entitled to.

Medicare Basics

When someone turns 65, they become eligible for Medicare.  Traditional Medicare, or sometimes referred to as Original Medicare, is the coverage provided by the Federal government and provides coverage for your Part A and Part B.

We take pride in helping educate our clients on all their available options. We know Medicare can be confusing and we are here to help you navigate the confusing maze.

Traditional Medicare, alone, may not provide enough comprehensive coverage so depending on health and other circumstances, both personal and financial, if you aren’t correctly protected, not knowing all your options can turn out to be expensive or costly. In fact, prescription drug coverage or Part D plan is not automatically included when eligible for Traditional Medicare unless you get extra help because you qualify for Medicare and Medicaid or you get Supplemental Security Income (SSI).  Enrolling into a Part D plan and having prescription drug coverage is highly recommended, so we help you evaluate the right plan based on monthly premium and level of drug coverage needed. Each Part D plan provides different coverage levels for different medications so taking all the right steps to correctly review your options will help to confirm that your medications are correctly covered and can help avoid potential late enrollment penalties.

If you have worked for 40 quarters or more, you typically are entitled to Medicare Part A by virtue of having paid into the Medicare system through taxes. Part B however, is not an entitlement and typically has a monthly premium associated with obtaining Part B coverage. The standard monthly premium is $144.60 for 2020. Both Part A and Part B can also have deductibles that you might be responsible for meeting for when obtaining care.

You have options and INA Medicare Advocates can help guide you.

Medicare Advantage health plans

Medicare Advantage health plans are a type of Medicare health plan offered by a private company that contracts with Medicare to provide all your Part A and Part B benefits. Most Medicare Advantage Plans also offer prescription drug coverage and typically offer a combination of additional benefits, like dental, vision, hearing, and gym membership, benefits that are not covered under Original Medicare. They are generally a less expensive way to receive Medicare benefits compared a Medicare Supplement.   If you’re enrolled in a Medicare Advantage Plan, most Medicare services are covered through the plan. Your Medicare services aren’t paid for by Original Medicare. Below are the most common types of Medicare Advantage Plans.

Medicare Supplement Plans

Medicare Supplement Plans help to pay the expenses that original Medicare does not cover. Since there many different plans to choose from, INA advocates help you evaluate the things that are important to you and fit your health lifestyle goals. A Medicare Supplement plan can help you have peace of mind knowing you can seek medical care from trusted providers and likely have little to no out of pocket expenses.
