As CEO of Insure North America dba INA Benefits Group, Joni Ramey has passionately represented the employee benefits industry for over 30 years and has enjoyed seeing INA grow to have locations in Vancouver, WA and Nampa, ID, with corporate headquarters in Phoenix, AZ.  

Joni started in the insurance world working on the carrier side but soon learned that she was limited on what she could do as a carrier rep.   Becoming an Insurance Broker would open many doors for her as well as help many people-her true calling!

She has held leadership roles in PAHU (Portland Association of Health Underwriters) & OAHU (Oregon Association of Health Underwriters) and is a member of NAHU (National Association of Health Underwriters) & WAHU (Washington Association of Health Underwriters).  She continues to support the HUPAC (Health Underwriters Political Action Committee) and has spent time on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. representing other Insurance Brokers as well as speaking to Senators and Congressmen regarding the concerns of her clients and changes in the insurance industry.   She is also involved in her local Chambers of Commerce.

Joni is ACA-accredited and licensed not only in Oregon and Washington but also holds insurance licenses in Idaho, Mississippi, Texas & Arizona. She is also certified to do Medical Claims & Billing.

Joni is very honored and humble to be a part of an industry that is evolving with changes.   She vows to always do the right thing when it comes to taking care of her clients!   You only get one chance to make a positive impression.

When she is not knee-deep in renewals and prospecting for new business, her grandchildren keep her busy with their daily activities-something she cherishes!

Bob served in the military as a non-commissioned officer for 6 years.  He then joined the Police force and became the youngest Chief of Police in the state of West Virginia.  He moved into private institutional business where he worked for several Fortune 500 companies in a management capacity for over 30 years.  These companies include Vanguard Group, Allied Signal Aerospace and Kaiser Permanente.  During this time, his experience included multi-state management responsibilities, union negotiations, budget & project management, employee relations negotiations and workplace violence prevention.  He is a frequent speaker to public and private industry groups regarding employee safety and workplace violence.  His most recent 15 of experience has been in the healthcare & healthcare insurance industry with Kaiser Permanente and Cambia Health.  He joins INA as a Managing Partner.

Bob has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Western International University, Arizona.  His Volunteering and Board experience includes:  CPP certification in Security Management, ASIS; Past Tigard-Tualatin School Board Member; Past ASIS International State Chair for Arizona and Oregon; Tigard Football Assoc. Past President and Coach, current Treasurer.

Amber Foss began her career in the Employee Benefits field in 2003 shortly after graduating High School. While attending Portland State University where she studied Criminology & Criminal Justice, she worked part-time for an Employee Benefits Firm as a Receptionist. Shortly thereafter, she was promoted to the role of Account Manager and began managing a large  book of business for several Agents in the office.

In 2009, Amber graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree from PSU Suma Cum Laude and was a part of the Criminal Justice Honor Society. After graduating she decided she loved working in the Employee Benefits field so much, she would going to continue to do so instead of pursuing a career in the Criminal Justice field. In the Fall of 2009, she opened a new Agency with one of the Agents she had closely worked for several years and transitioned into a Senior Account Management role.

In addition to the 14 years of experience in Employee Benefits, Amber has also had several years of experience in Customer Service and Risk Management. For several years, while working as a Senior Account Manager, she also worked a second job for a Major Retailer doing Risk Management/Loss Prevention. During this time, she received multiple awards including Detective of the Year for the Oregon district in 2012 after being with the company for less than one year.

Amber currently manages two individual books of business as well as an employee benefits book of business. She guides our clients and their employees with over-the-top customer service. She is responsible for developing proposals, negotiating with the Carriers and providing our clients with a detailed renewal analysis. She also prepares customized employee benefit guides and Employer Compliance Manuals that are designed to comply with ACA and ERISA laws as well as building customized web portals for Employer Groups and their employers where they have 24/7 access to all benefit information.

Amber takes great pride in not only making your HR Department’s job easier, but ensuring that each employee has a complete understanding of their benefits package while also providing peace of mind. 

Amber loves spending time traveling and being outdoors as much as possible with her daughter, Kinsley & son, Paxton. They keep her on her toes and there’s nothing she loves more than being a Mom! When she’s not working, Amber is running around chasing chickens and taking care of the rest of the “farm” including two rabbits, her senior dog, Diva, her “grumpy” cat, Figarro and two new puppies.

 

Ron O’Brian – Health & Life Agent/Medicare Specialist

Ron O’Brian has been in the radio and television industry for 37 years. For 21 of those years he was an airborne traffic reporter, providing traffic reports from the sky to listeners & viewers. He continues to work in the industry in Boise Idaho, but now much more safely, on the ground! Ron also has done public speaking and live Radio remotes.


With radio and the delivery of traffic that has changed over the years, Ron decided it was time for a change and started to research the Insurance industry.Newly licensed and ready to take on the challenge of this crazy thing we call insurance.

He has volunteered in the past with the Idaho Commission for Libraries, and with Habitat for Humanity, serving on the Public Relations board, and is a past member of Lions Club International, serving in various roles.

Ron enjoys working on landscape projects and home improvements and being active…from working out at the gym to snow shoeing, hiking, mountain biking, and exploring all that Idaho has to offer!

Accomplished Relationship Manager, experienced in Project Management, Benefit Management and Strategic Planning. Tyler Dice views his career in benefits management as dynamic and diverse, with opportunities for challenge and growth. Tyler sees the people he encounters as individuals he can learn from and people he can educate. He believes that each day brings the opportunity to create connection. 

A native to the Pacific Northwest, Tyler has been with the love of his life, Lindsey, a nurse in their community, for nearly 13 years. Together, they have four beautiful children, Jace 12, Carson 6 and 7-month-old boy/girl twins, Coaralinne and Camdyn. Tyler has nearly 20 years of delivering sustained results for financial institutions, local municipalities and healthcare providers. Tyler has served on the Civil Service Commission for his small town, served a two-year term as PTO president for his local elementary school. He has served as the Executive Event Sponsorship Manager for his towns event committee and is an active member of his local church. When not actively engaged with his current or future clients, Tyler can be found making memories with his family, walking Lacamas Lake Park or taking day trips to the coast. 

Coming from humble beginnings, Tyler has a great appreciation for those wishing to save money, without sacrificing necessities. Maya Angelou once said, “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” You can rest easy knowing that Tyler will take the time to make sure you leave every encounter, feeling wonderful.

Jerry Irvine comes to INA Benefits Group with a commitment of optimal client service and support.  He has benefitted in knowledge and experience from several years of serving others. This includes the area of public and private social service agency, clinical healthcare and case management, and individual and group insurance support. He is a Master’s graduate of Walla Walla University where he studied Business Administration and Social Work with emphasis in Healthcare.

In 2009, he married his best friend, Rhonda and eventually brought her to live in his native Washington state. Jerry enjoys his grandchildren Jase and Kaycee Rose. Additionally, Rhonda and Jerry share in their love and care of their pets – Evie, a Chinese Crested dog along with two cats, Charlie and Kosha. 

Rhonda and Jerry enjoy volunteering in their community.

Kristine Eikenbary – Customer Service

Kristine Eikenbary began her career in collections and as a financial counselor in one of the largest hospitals in the Portland area for 26 years while also working in a street ministry in Portland. She went into full time ministry working with girls that needed some help with there lives and babies.  Teaching life skills. Letting them know the lives of the babies and their lives had a purpose.

Kristine and her best friend in ministry purchased a horse farm. With the intent to work with kids that have experienced sexual abuse, those being bullied, low or no self-esteem, just letting them know someone cares and they are loved. “It amazing to watch someone change when they have overcome the size of a horse and to get the horse to do what they are asking. Changing lives. Living on the farm we have ducks, chickens, dogs, way too many rabbits, and of course my Yorkie, Jax“

Kristine moved from Northern California to the Northwest 33 years ago, first Portland, then Washington where she now resides. Kristine has a daughter, Kacie, a son, Jeff and a daughter-in-law Courtney. They have 2 children, Lea-12 and Escher-10. 

Kristine is joining INA Benefits Group with an expertise in customer service.
